ALUMNI BAND FOR HOMECOMING!
Hello Past Ypsilanti/Willow Run/Ypsilanti Community Band Members,
It is that time of year again and we are inviting our Alumni Band Members to come play music with the current Ypsilanti Community Marching Band during the Homecoming Game on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 7pm. The Alumni will be playing in the stands during the game and marching out with the band.
If you are interested in joining the band, please click on the link below and fill out the form to let us know who to expect. If you have an instrument, please bring it. If you don’t have one, we will see if we have a working one that you can use. We cannot guarantee an instrument for all interested alumni.
Please print and prepare stand tunes using the link below. The password has been sent via email to alumni, but you may send an email to ychsbands@gmail.com if you need it.
We ask that you arrive to YCHS by 4:30pm on game day, October 7th. We will rehearse the music before running through it with the band. We march down to the field at 6:30pm. Alumni will go to the stands once we halt on the track, and the marching band will perform pregame.
If you have an old band shirt, please wear it! We would love to see many Braves, Flyers, Phoenix, and Grizzlies in the band.
We hope to see many of our Alumni Band Members come and celebrate playing music with the current Marching Band!
